Jordana Loeb activates wooden membranes in sonic performance, drawing on the interaction between the body's motions and material. In printmaking the wooden block also known as the matrix, plays back its vibrations onto itself, resonating with over-tones and distortion. This sound practice has been an ongoing development with composer Anders af Klintberg from Loeb's solo exhibition, Wooden Feedback (2022) at Galleri Duerr in Stockholm.
